In January-August of this year, Azerbaijan exported 41,981.46 tons of aluminum and its products worth 152,779.01 thousand US dollars.
The State Customs Committee told APA-Economics that during the reporting period, the value of aluminum and products made from it exported by Azerbaijan increased by almost 66%, and the volume increased by 13% compared to the corresponding indicator of 2021.
According to information, during the reporting period, the share of aluminum in total non-oil sector exports was 5,811 TP2T.
It should be recalled that last year, Azerbaijan exported 67,354.77 tons of aluminum and its products worth 188,529.24 thousand US dollars. During the reporting period, the value of aluminum and products made from it exported by Azerbaijan increased by 66.21 TP2T, and the volume by 12.61 TP2T compared to the indicator of 2020. In 2021, the share of aluminum in the total non-oil sector exports was 6,951 TP2T.
